Our Hope to Grow Our Family Through Adoption

Our Story
We are Chase and Carle Gehring. We have been married for over three years and have spent that time praying and hoping to grow our family.
After many doctor’s visits, we learned that conceiving naturally might be very difficult for us. We chose to try IUI, but after two attempts, we were unsuccessful. At that point, we decided IVF was not the path we felt called to pursue, and we continued to pray and seek God’s guidance for what our next steps should be.
Two months after our unsuccessful IUIs, by the grace of God, we discovered that we were pregnant naturally. At our first appointment, we learned we were expecting twins — something that had always been a dream for us. Sadly, just six days later, we experienced the heartbreaking loss of our babies.
Over the past year and beyond, we have continued to pray for the family God has planned for us while still trying to conceive. After three years of hoping, praying, and seeking His direction, we feel that God is calling us to adoption.
We have a deep sense of peace about this decision and trust that God has a perfect plan for our lives. He has already written our story, and we are excited to see how it unfolds.

About us
Where are we from?
We live in Owasso, Oklahoma. Owasso is a suburb of Tulsa and is a great place to raise a family.
What do we like to do?
We love to travel! Since we have been married, we have traveled to 18 countries. We love national parks, hiking and anything outdoors. We are big foodies and enjoy trying new restaurants.
About our Family
We are so blessed to live close to most of our family and we spend as much time with them as we can. Carle has 2 sisters and a brother who are all married and have children. Chase has a sister who is married with 2 children, and a brother. We also have 2 miniature dachshunds.
Our Beliefs
We both grew up in loving Christian homes and make that a top priority in our lives. We attend church in Tulsa every week and put God first in our household.
What do we do for work?
We own a business together and truly prioritize work/life balance. Owning our own business provides the flexibility for Carle to be a stay-at-home mom in the future.
